Colin Winkelmann’s career has been a roller coaster ride of joy and pain. He’s one of the most accomplished riders on the 1-800-COLLECT team. Colin won ESPN’s very first street contest, he’s been invited to and competed in numerous X Games, and actually rolled away from his first double back-flip four years ago. He won an award for worst crash on ESPN’s Extreme Bloopers TV program and has injured himself more times than seems humanly possible.

Multiple knee surgeries and numerous separated shoulders haven’t been able to keep Colin out of the mix. His most recent triumph took place at the NBC Gravity Games (link to new Gravity Games Content). Colin separated his shoulder three weeks before the event, but came back in time to compete, qualify for the finals, and finish 10th overall.
Colin is always on the road, but no matter how far from home, he always uses 1-800-COLLECT to call his girlfriend back in Ohio.

Leigh Ramsdell brings a unique sense of style and flair to the 1-800-COLLECT team. His ability to ride everything from street, to skate-parks, to vert, to dirt lumps him into a league of his own. Leigh is well known for having survived some pretty serious crashes, including a miscalculated 540° on vert at the 1-800-COLLECT-sponsored ESPN B3 Games in Oceanside, CA. |

Leigh hung his front wheel and broke his arm. Two plates and six pins later, his arm is intact and he should back on the ramps soon. He hopes to appear at the Asian X-Games in Thailand.
Leigh likes listening to music, making bike videos, playing his guitar, and shooting pool with one hand. Leigh also writes the music section for Ride BMX Magazine. |
